Mufasa: That's right Simba you're nothing like me and the reason you're acting like Scar is because you were being so rude and selfish by not letting Kiara get what she wanted you started thinking only for yourself and you haven't learned on what it takes to become the one true king. Mufasa: What happened to you? You have become so cold and bitter over the years, Kiara's right Simba you will never be me and she is more than an adult than you are because she's willing to give somebody a chance while you isolate them and be cruel to almost every being that comes here you are not being me Simba you are becoming like Scar. Simba: She's young because she doesn't know what she wants and whether she likes it or not Kovu won't come back. She's an adult Simba and she can make her own choices decide for herself, and she is smart enough to be a judge of a character you have no right to trap her in there and treat her like a child. Mufasa: No she wouldn't and how dare you be so cruel to her? She knows Kovu better than anyone else and she knows that he loves her very much. Simba: Zira made it clear that Kovu was the chosen one of Scar I know that he was raised to follow in his pawprints, and if I haven't escaped he would've taken over Pride Rock and Kiara would end up being dead. Mufasa: At first yes, Simba he was raised by a hateful lioness named Zira to be used as a weapon he didn't have any choices or escape and Kiara saved him because he wanted to tell you about Zira's plot and he had nothing to do with the ambush. Mufasa: So you banished Kovu without letting him explain his side of the story and confined your own daughter in Pride Rock like a prisoner because of what happened!?
He was very upset at Simba, so he went to talk to him. A few minutes later, the sky opened and showed Mufasa on the clouds. Kiara's sad words made Simba very sad and then she ran away from him to find Kovu. "I know he's following in Scar's pow prints. You will stay here where I'll keep on eye on you, away from him ". "Because you are my daughter" said Simba bitterly, "You will not leave Pride Rock. "No! He loves me! For me! " Why are you doing this to me? defied Kiara. "Don't you see? He used you to get to me! " shouted Simba. that's not true Kovu wasn’t the one behind all this." answered Kiara bravely. "You are not going anywhere without on escort from now on" Simba told her coldly. There should've been a scene where Mufasa glared at Simba for banishing Kovu from the Pride Lands.
